There are so many other emotions behind anger.
Face the anger and pin point where it really comes from.
It’s usually not about the person in front of you.
Bobby Huang creates videos and content to help his readers get the most out of their lives. He focuses on getting the most results with the least effort in Information Products and Passive Income. It's not lazy, just called being effective bro.
There are so many other emotions behind anger.
Face the anger and pin point where it really comes from.
It’s usually not about the person in front of you.
Every solution, every problem revolves around these two things.
If you read the books and meditate on these two items, you can cure all of life’s problems and make life far better in whatever way you define as better.
These first of these two things are, past, present future. The second thing is scarcity and abundance.
If you truly understand these concepts, life becomes more simple and easier to live and get results out of life.
I’m a huge supporter of Believing is Seeing.
This mindset means that we will see what we believe to be true.
This is a great mindset when we are OPEN MINDED to a great future, and looking for positive change.
This mindset doesn’t work though when we are FOOLING ourselves.
Fooling ourselves into thinking everything is fine.
Fooling ourselves into believing everything is fine when in reality it is not.
This means we might believe something and see it in a way we want, but we might not be truly seeing it for what it really is (think of falling in love as an example).
Sometimes we fall in love with someone and believe what we want to see, and ignore reality.
We ignore the small things they do to annoy us and ignore the huge potential problems we’ll face in the future with them.
This is where sometimes Seeing is Believing comes into play.
Sometimes we truly have to see something, to understand the reality of the situation.
The high level and mid level managers of the New York Police Department believed the numbers they were told in the 1990s.
Only 3% of crime in New York happens in the Subways. So they stuck to their status quo that the subway was fine.
The public called it the Electric Sewer.
When the new police commissioner came in, he made himself and other high level to mid level managers in the NYPD ride the subway day and night.
They started seeing why it was called the Electric Sewer, because there were many aggressive beggars, gangs roaming around threatening people, people jumping from different subway platforms to others.
They started to see why the public boycotted the system.
They started to believe what they saw, because sometimes we need to see something to believe it.
Truly see it.
For all it’s true colors.
Then change can be possible in this situation.
The situation of denial and sticking to the status quo.
What have you been in denial about?
What status quo are you sticking to?
The biggest mistake companies make in their marketing is a very simple one.
They try to give the customer what the company thinks the customer wants.
What they should be working on is giving the customer what they want AND need, not just what they “think” the customer wants.
Common sense, but often not common practice.
It boils down to 2 simple things.
Unsuccessful people make their decisions slowly (even if they have all the information), and change their minds quickly at the drop of a needle.
Successful people make their decisions quickly (when they have enough information), and slowly change their minds if ever.
The first dude who proclaimed the world was round, I believe he was proclaimed a lunatic and left in jail to die.
I’ll be the next 36131363 person to declare that the world is flat.
The internet connects us, and airplanes (own a private jet for a reasonable price per year anyone?) connect us like never before.
If we focus on feeling safe in our little bubble, it won’t be safe for much longer.
The world is the stage.
Humans have been known to have 3 brains we operate from, it’s the triune brain theory.
We’ve been developing brains over our brains, layer after layer as we have evolved as humans.
The earliest one we have is the lizard brain.
This is our fear and survival brain that kept us alive when sabertooth tigers attacked.
We have the mammal brain.
This is where our emotions come from.
Then we have the conscious brain.
This is the one we use to think, it’s what makes us human.
Most humans think they are rational creatures who function from this brain.
We don’t mainly, we are influenced by our other two brains.
Humans are irrational creatures, we make decisions for the weirdest reasons before it hits our rational brain.
Then we rationalize it.
Did you know our decisions are made seconds before our conscious brain makes it?
Mastermind groups are powerful, they will change your life and make it better in one way or another.
That is unless you are surrounded by people who don’t care for change.
Your Mastermind group doesn’t even need to be people alive, they can be people from throughout history as your advisors.
Some of the most successful people have virtual mastermind groups, where when they close their eyes, they can get feedback from the great people of history.
They help them make great decisions.
What exactly is a Mastermind group?
It’s a group of people who are there to help you get to where you want to be faster.
You want to do the same for each member.
My Mastermind meets weekly and we just finished a call a few hours ago.
We are from all over the world.
We still meet consistently.
Today they helped me plan out some marketing and business strategies to make more sales for one of my products and brands.
It was very helpful and if each person charged individually what they normally charge for one hour, that call would have costed me thousands of dollars.
Start working on finding a Mastermind today.
A great place to start is at seminars of like minded people.
Depending on how big a video file is, determines how long it takes for a person to download it and watch it.
I watched a video recently that was 1gb for 1 hour.
It would not load on my computer because it didn’t stream internationally fast nor did it download much at all.
Lesson: encode videos smaller so that users can watch them faster.
Encoding right isn’t very difficult, it’s something I teach.
It is difficult to take action.
It is difficult to start our own businesses.
But the payoff is so rewarding, it’s worth it.
Want to know the easiest way to stop a bad habit?
I’ll tell you in a little bit.
First, let me tell you how I have a certain bad habit I will stop today.
This bad habit has ruined many relationships for me and pushed many people away.
This habit comes out of scarcity, as if there is not enough in the world in relationships and that I must hoard and protect the person from other people’s influence.
This caused the opposite reaction from the people I was trying to hoard.
In the short term, the person I was trying to hoard would listen to me.
But slowly over time influence from other people started to kick in.
Other people would start saying bad things about me and start influencing them away from me.
Opposite effect of what I wanted.
This all came from a scarcity mindset, and I’m quickly making abundance a conscious decision.
I’m starting to tell myself, to care for, love, and appreciate everyone.
Be positive to everyone and welcome everyone into my life. I will still keep negative people at a far distance, though I will start saying positive things about people.
Now do you want to know the secret of stopping bad habits?
I already told you.
If you really want to know, let me know by a comment below.
Except for two things.
The books that we read.
And the people we meet.
I love playing RPGs.
The quick progression and leveling up is constant fun for me.
Improving of stats and other things too.
Recently I found a cool habit based game that I can level up a character with, with my own good habits.
I highly recommend you check it out, it’s called Habitrpg.
It’s currently being swarmed with users, so forgive it for having bugs and downtime!
Our beliefs determine our reality.
Our reality does not determine our beliefs (unless we choose to let it happen).
Life is great, even if life sucks.
Life is great, even if bad things happen.
There is certain music that has been “proven” to increase brain activity in certain areas. I’ll tell you 6 specific songs in another post.
There also has been certain music that has been proven to decrease brain activity in certain areas.
These certain areas are our ability to learn, our engagement, and overall how well we learn something.
Remember, learning = behavior change.
I would venture to say, a majority of people listen to the 2nd type of music, the one that decreases function in the brain.
Not because they truly want to, but because it’s easier and gives short term gratification.
The long term damaging effects out weigh the short term benefits, though its very difficult for us to see it because the short term is hard to see because it’s what we live in.
Then we start to ignore the long term pain of what it causes us because it makes our daily lives easier.
Similar to smoking.
Smokers enjoy the short term benefits (which don’t last very long) and then they start ignoring the long term damages.
Life is pretty easy if we think of it in a certain way.
If we choose to live by the long term, life becomes easy in our daily lives.
It might take more “effort” in the short term, though the benefits far out weigh the cost of “effort” we spend.
The certain type of music I’ll tell you that helps you learn faster is more geared toward classical.
There are 6 specific songs that help increase what you learn.
It also might help you do more work better.
I’ll start you off with a place to look, Mozart.
He is not the only one, though it’s a good place to start.
It’s the story many of us tell ourselves.
“I hate sales people, I hate advertising and marketing, it’s so annoying.”
The thing is, marketing is story telling, and we tell ourselves stories all day.
Even the story about hating marketers.
All day we do marketing. We make other people believe our story about who we are and we even believe the story itself.
When we teach kids how to be great people, we are marketing to them that our idea/story is the good one to follow.
Sometimes we make the mistake of saying it’s better for them when it’s really not.
We also sometimes make the mistake of telling them they should follow what we say without telling them why or what reason we have.
If we don’t tell them why or how it benefits them, 33% or more of kids and our audience stop listening.
When you are at a fancy dinner, they always place certain items in specific locations.
If you grab someone else’s drink or bread, other people will look at you in a certain negative way.
It’s very simple to know which drinks and bread are yours!
Check out the pic below and use this to remember!
In case you don’t know, B = Bread, D = Drink.
If you put this hand symbol around your eyeballs, you become batman.
Duhnuhnuhnuhnuh Batman.
Video marketing had to evolve. It was inevitable.
It was becoming much too complicated. And if it isn’t too complicated for some people, it’s still definitely too time consuming.
You had to worry about the following:
Well, someone has finally done something about it.
Josh Bartlett, the creator of the industries leading video player called Easy Video Player, has truly done something innovative in video marketing.
His Easy Video Player software had game-changing features two years ago that other video marketing solutions have just recently tried to introduce.
And on top of that, Josh could boast about the following:
Rather than throw in a few, new and “cool” features and re-launch his product simply for the money, he listened to his customers and did something else.
He took over two years and hundreds of thousands of his own dollars to create something that will change the way you market your business with videos.
You’ll now be able to record, edit, publish, market and track all your videos with one, easy-to-use solution.
Josh is releasing this all-in-one video marketing solution on January 15th, 2013 with a free video series leading up to the launch.
He’s going to reveal the story about his journey and passion that led him to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars from his own pocket to create the ultimate video marketing solution.
And how you can now do the following:
That’s just scratching the surface…
What all this ultimately means for you is that marketing your business with videos is going to be much, much easier.
And you’ll make a ton more money while having more time to do what you love.
Anyways…
Josh is also going to demonstrate the amazing power of his creation in this series.
So go see how video marketing has evolved.
Talk soon,
Bobby
This could be thought of as Karma.
It’s definitely not instant gratification either, when we do something good for another person, it doesn’t instantly come back to us.
The intentions of positive benefit to another person and result of positive benefit, likely return positive benefits for us!
It’s been “proven” and shown in many ways when we help people, we get something back, maybe not directly, but we get something.
As long as we make it an intention for other people to benefit (not just ourselves) it comes back eventually.
This is one of those believe and it comes true kind of thing.
Believe how you help the world is helpful and truly helping the world and people and it will come back to you.
I don’t know who originally created this or where I got it from exactly, but I’ll go ahead and share it with you and thank the person who created this awesome info graphic.
If you find yourself disagreeing with either of the sides, think about how you see the world.
